LGBTQIA+ affirming
I am here to support you on your journey of seeking support around your gender and or sexuality. Whether that be the main reason you are seeking therapy now, or if another pressing issue is bringing you in, I will empathetically and carefully hold these parts of your identity as we embark on your therapeutic journey.
Background & training
I have had the privilege of working extensively with the LGBTQIA+ community.

At The Door, a nonprofit youth development agency based in lower Manhattan, I have worked with LGBTQIA+ youth. I have led supportive group-based therapy there, or connected community members to appropriate resources such as gender affirming medical support, and housing support.

At IHI, or the Institute for Human Identity, I have worked with LGBTQIA+ clients in a psychotherapeutic setting. Through weekly therapy and training I have supported my clients through different life transitions, and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and have also worked extensively with Adult Children of Alcoholics, or individuals impacted by addiction in their family units.

Since then, I have worked and continue to work in private practice settings, maintaining a caseload with a focus on working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
