LGBTQIA+ affirming
I am here to support you on your journey of seeking support around your gender and or sexuality. Whether that be the main reason you are seeking therapy now, or if another pressing issue is bringing you in, I will empathetically and carefully hold these parts of your identity as we embark on your therapeutic journey.
Background & training
I have had the privilege of working extensively with the LGBTQIA+ community.
At The Door, a nonprofit youth development agency in lower Manhattan, I supported LGBTQIA+ youth through group therapy and connecting them to vital resources, such as gender-affirming medical care and housing support.
At the Institute for Human Identity (IHI), I worked with LGBTQIA+ clients in individual therapy, supporting them through life transitions and mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, OCD, and issues related to growing up in an alcoholic or addictive family environment.
I continue to work in private practice, maintaining a caseload focused on serving the LGBTQIA+ community with ongoing care and support.
